Biography

I have been passionately interested in food all my life. Where it comes from, who grew or raised it, how it is prepared, who eats it and how it is eaten are all subjects I find intensely interesting.

Sharing a meal is a profoundly sacramental act and one of the most basic and intimate forms of communication that we have. So for me the subject of food is also the subject of how we are the human family together.
